RATES
Project fees are based on document length, deadline requirements, and the level of editing requested. Henry Street Editing bills by the page, so you will know the cost before the work begins. Although per-page billing is recommended, clients who prefer to be billed at an hourly rate will gladly be accommodated.
There is no charge to request a fee quote. Please contact me with the details of your project, and I’ll get back to you with fee and scheduling information.

BILLING
Before the work begins, we’ll sign an agreement that outlines the project fee, deadline, and payment procedure.
An upfront payment of half the project fee is required to reserve a spot on my calendar. The project balance is due before delivery. Projects totaling less than $200 and all rush jobs require full payment in advance. If you choose to pay the full fee upfront (and the project is neither a rush order nor less than $200), you receive a 5% discount.
Clients affiliated with an institution may select to open an account with Henry Street Editing and be billed upon delivery of project, provided their affiliated institution signs a contract committing to payment within 30 days of receipt of invoice.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Henry Street Editing accepts credit cards via PayPal.com, which offers secure and verifiable credit card processing. This is the most convenient option, but it does come with an additional charge of 3% of the project total to cover part of the transaction fee. Alternately, you can send send a cashier’s check (also known as a bank check) by mail.

REQUEST A FEE QUOTE
Requesting a fee quote for your project is simple, free, and nonbinding. And because the fee quote is at a per-page rate, there will be no surprises on your final bill. The contact page outlines the basic information to include with your request.
